The jump from HFM to FCCS presents administrators and consultants with the major challenge of becoming proficient in a new scripting language for custom calculation, translation and consolidation methods. Students will explore the concepts behind writing calculations in the new multi-dimensional Essbase environment that supports FCCS. Discover how to leverage the dense and sparse nature of FCCS dimensions in order to create powerful and dynamic calculations. Gain an insight into the relationship between built-in calculations and those over which there is full control.
